1. What we collect

When you use Signature Identifier, we may collect:
  • Signature images and optional reference samples you choose to upload for identification.
  • Optional context you provide (suspected signer name, notes).
  • Account information if you sign in (email, username).
  • Usage analytics and basic device information.

2. How we use it

We use what you share to:
  • Produce a single signature dossier per submission.
  • Run the optional side-by-side comparison against a reference sample.
  • Improve the examiner model, in aggregate, over time.
  • Maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

3. AI processing

To produce a dossier, Signature Identifier uploads the images and text you submit to third-party AI platforms via a secure connection. These platforms currently include Google and OpenAI. By tapping “analyze,” you agree to share that submission with these providers so the request can be processed. Please review the privacy policies of Google and OpenAI for how they handle inbound content.

4. Storage

Dossiers and uploaded images are stored on Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security. Public dossiers are visible in the community archive; you can choose visibility when you submit.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do share anonymized, aggregated usage signals with analytics providers to improve the product.

6. Your controls

You may:
  • Request deletion of your dossiers and uploaded images.
  • Change the visibility of your dossiers.
  • Opt out of analytics tracking.
